Intermodal Freight Transport

This course focuses on intermodal freight transportation.  It is designed to provide students with an understanding of basic characteristics of freight transportation systems and operations, as well as help students develop a deeper understanding of how to model the various intermodal freight components to provide optimum performance.  Students are expected to apply one or more of the discussed quantitative techniques to address a contemporary issue involving intermodal freight, culminating in a mini research paper.
